Overview
The PF-1.00-FILTER-SPRAY is a 1″ polypropylene inlet strainer that filters your water source before it reaches the pump. It uses a 50 mesh filter to catch most particles found in a water tank and is sized to feed a pump drawing up to 8 GPM. Install it on the inlet line between your water tank and pump to keep grit and debris out of the pump valves and seals. It's rated to 75 max PSI, so it belongs on the supply (feed) side, not downstream of the pump. If you're drawing from a well instead of a tank, use a blue top filter instead.
