Overview

The ACI202 is a downstream chemical injector with a fixed 10% draw ratio, rated to 4500 PSI on pressure washers flowing 1–2 GPM. It installs after the pump with quick-connect fittings, so chemical never runs through the pump — that protects your seals and packings and lets you draw a wider range of chemicals, including bleach-based house-wash mixes. Drop to low pressure with a black short-range soap tip or a blue size 40.0 long-range tip and the injector pulls chemical automatically; switch back to a high-pressure nozzle and the draw stops. The brass body holds up to daily use, and the assembly snaps on and off in seconds.

Frequently asked questions

The ACI202 fits pressure washers flowing 1–2 GPM at up to 4,500 PSI. Flow rate is the spec that matters most for a downstream injector — if your machine runs more than 2 GPM, it won't pull enough vacuum to draw chemical reliably, so choose an injector sized for your GPM.

Downstream means the injector mounts after the pump, so chemical never passes through the pump itself. That protects the pump's seals and valves from corrosive detergents and lets you run a wider choice of chemicals than an upstream (through-the-pump) setup.

Switch to a low-pressure soap nozzle — a black short-range tip or a blue size 40.0 long-range tip. The pressure drop creates the vacuum that pulls chemical at the fixed 10% ratio; switching back to a high-pressure nozzle stops the draw automatically.

Check the flow-arrow direction first — the injector may arrive plumbed backwards for your setup. Swap the quick-connect fittings so the flow arrow points downstream, away from your machine, then confirm you're spraying with a low-pressure soap tip.
