Overview
The General Pump (Interpump) EZ4040G is a bare replacement pressure washer pump rated 4.0 GPM at 4000 PSI, with a standard SAE J609 gasoline mounting flange for direct-drive gas engines up to 13 HP. Bare means no plumbing — you transfer your existing unloader and fittings, which saves money on a repower or pump swap. That said, we strongly recommend installing a new unloader with a new pump; the VRT3-310EZ is a direct match for this one. The pump runs a forged brass manifold with a lifetime warranty and 3:1 hydrostatic rating, a one-piece ceramic-coated plunger design that keeps water out of the crankcase, stainless steel valves, and a die-cast anodized aluminum oil-bath crankcase. A left-handed "L" version is available.
