Overview
The General Pump HP5535 is a belt-drive plunger pump rated for 3500 PSI and 5.6 GPM at 1450 RPM (4.5 GPM at 1125 RPM), built for continuous-duty commercial pressure washing. Running at belt-drive speeds instead of engine speed cuts heat and wear, and the construction backs it up: a forged brass manifold with an exclusive lifetime warranty, solid ceramic plungers with lubricated packings, oversized connecting rods, tapered roller bearings, and a large oil-bath crankcase with a sight gauge and dipstick. It carries a 24 mm (0.945 in.) shaft, 1/2"-14 BSPP-F inlet, 3/8"-19 BSPP-F discharge, and handles fluid up to 165°F — a solid choice for repowering a belt-drive machine or building a new skid. Install it with an unloader and a secondary safety relief valve.
