Overview

This is a 1/4" stainless steel quick-connect plug with a female thread, the male plug half of a standard pressure washer quick-connect pair. Thread it onto a 1/4" male fitting on your hose, gun, lance, or nozzle holder, and it snaps into any matching 1/4" quick-connect socket for tool-free connections and disconnections. Stainless steel construction resists rust and corrosion better than plated steel or brass, which makes it the right pick for softwash and chemical applications or any rig that sees frequent water exposure. It's a common replacement when a worn or corroded plug starts leaking at the coupler.

Yes, if your machine uses standard 1/4" quick-connect fittings — this plug threads onto any 1/4" male fitting and snaps into any standard 1/4" QC socket. Check the fitting on your gun, lance, or hose end; 1/4" quick connects are the most common size on pressure washers.

It means the plug has a female (internal) thread, so it screws onto a male-threaded 1/4" fitting. The "plug" is the piece that inserts into the quick-connect socket (coupler); female refers only to the thread side, not the snap-in end.

Stainless steel holds up better against rust and chemical corrosion, so it lasts longer in softwash setups, around bleach and detergents, and on rigs that stay wet. Brass and plated-steel plugs are cheaper but corrode and stick sooner in those conditions.
